How It Works: Seller Onboarding on RKMG E-Marketplace

1. Get Started: Create Your Seller Account

1. Sign Up
o Visit https://www.rkmg.in/seller/
o Enter your business email, mobile number, and create a secure password
o Accept RKMG’s Seller Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
2. Email & Mobile Verification
o You’ll receive an OTP on your mobile and a verification link via email
o Enter the OTP and click the link to activate your account

2. Submit Your Business Details & Documents

1. Business Profile
o Provide your legal business name, address, GSTIN/UIN, and PAN details
o Upload your business logo
2. Bank & Tax Information
o Share your bank account number, IFSC code, and branch details
o Upload a cancelled cheque or bank statement for validation
3. KYC Documents
o Proprietorship: Owner’s PAN and Aadhaar
o Partnership/LLP/Company: Partnership Deed or Certificate of Incorporation + PAN cards of partners/directors
o Ensure all uploads are clear, legible PDFs or images (JPG/PNG)

3. Verification & Approval

1. Automated Document Check
o Our system performs an initial validation on GSTIN, PAN, and bank details
2. Compliance Review
o A dedicated RKMG employee manually reviews your KYC documents
o If any discrepancy arises, you’ll be notified via email/SMS to re-submit or clarify
3. Onboarding Confirmation
o Once approved, you’ll receive a “Seller Live” notification
o Typical turnaround: 1–3 business days

4. Set Up Your Online Store

1. Store Profile
o Add a storefront name, banner image, and a short brand description
2. Shipping & Return Policies
o Define your preferred courier partners (RKMG can integrate with multiple logistics partners) as of now Blue Dart is there.
o Set your return, replacement, and cancellation terms
3. Seller Training
o Access our self-service Seller Academy for video tutorials and user guides
o Join live “Ask Me Anything” webinars with the RKMG Seller Success team

5. Catalogue & Listing Management

1. Bulk Upload or Manual Listing
o Bulk: Download the RKMG Excel template, fill in product SKUs, titles, descriptions, prices, stock levels & upload
o Manual: Add products one by one via the “Add New Product” wizard
2. Content Guidelines
o Use high-resolution images (800×800 px minimum) on white backgrounds
o Write clear, keyword-rich titles (e.g. “Men’s Slim Fit Cotton Shirt – Blue”)
3. Quality Assurance
o RKMG runs an automated check for prohibited items, pricing errors, and image compliance
o Listings that pass these checks go live immediately; issues are flagged for your attention

6. Go Live & Start Selling

1. Go-Live Checklist
o Confirm at least 5 live listings
o Ensure logistics integration is active (test order recommended)
2. Marketplace Visibility
o Your products appear under relevant categories and search results
o Option to enroll in promotional campaigns (e.g., Seasonal Sale, Flash Deals)
